The Life After Call Center

by Call Center Gal on May 27, 2010

After working in a call center for say two, three, five or six years, what is the next step for our call center employees?

I have known a lot of call center agents before who finally tried their luck in other ‘ventures.’ Most of them hit it when they have found the best franchise opportunities out there and start an offline business. While others decided to give online gigs a try and liked it after sometime.

As for the rest, they either went back to school and finish college. Some went to graduate school while others followed their passion like photography and now working as a freelancer.

How about you? What would you like to do after working in a call center for so many years?

Hi thank_you_For_calling…

It is really a big risk to leave something that you are already comfortable with like work in a call center, in order to finish your studies. You can still work part time if you want, as there are other BPOs that have ‘seasonal accounts’ and are hiring part time agents.

On the other hand, just think of the benefits that you will be getting out of doing this ‘simple sacrifice’. If you finish school then there is a chance of getting opportunities for a higher paying job. Think of your long term goals. Believe me, it is worth going back to school. :)

Keep us posted ha? :) Would love to know more about your success.
