My blogger friend, Call Center Guy, posted this prayer in his blog November of last year ‘to have a more peaceful elections and to pray for guidance in choosing the next President of the Philippines’.
Since, it has been days since the first automated elections happened in the Philippines, I still deemed it appropriate to remember how most of us Filipinos wanted some significant changes to happen, and that we are still hoping for the best in the Philippine Government.

Prayer for Guidance in choosing the next President of the Philippines:
Our Lord Jesus Christ:We worship you, love and treasure you. Guide us in choosing the next president of our beloved country the Philippines, help us choose the most qualified person that will bring peace and prosperity to our country, the one that will think for the sake of the whole nation.Guide us in our quest, we ask in your name…. Amen.
Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven, Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sinned against us. Do not lead us to the test, but deliver us from evil. Amen
Hail Mary, full of grace, the LORD is with thee, blessed are you among all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus, Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and in the hour of our death. Amen
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
