Of Call Center Work and Acne Problems

by Call Center Gal on April 22, 2010

There are some folks who want to work in a call center but they were half hearted in pushing their application because of some things that associated with a call center life.

Rotating shifts, finding best acne treatment after sleepless days, puffy eyes, dark circles and weight gain among those things. They can give me a long list of reasons not to work in a call center, and according to them, they are all true because they have seen it from their friends and relatives who also jumped the call center wagon.

Well, those things are mostly true. But of course these ‘reactions’ depend on someone’s health before and while they are working in a BPO industry. You always have to make some (little) sacrifices, when you want to do something productively. I’m just thinking that with all those reasons, maybe, they are meant to work for another industry instead of pushing a career in the BPO industry.

I guess what you said is true. If they have so much reasons why they would not want to work in the BPO industry, they maybe up for a different one. True that it is indeed needed to make sacrifices in order to make something productively.

Totaly agree! Not everyone can work in a call center. the job’s not for everyone and if you don;’t know how to adjust then it won’t get you anywhere.
