When a lot of call center hopefuls rush to Manila for their next call center job, I suggest that you take a look first at the opportunities available in your area.
Just like those call center facilities in Cebu, Baguio and call center offices in Davao. If you want to still work in a call center while keeping your family close at hand, I believe that working nearby has its advantages. I remembered that I also mentioned how APAC Tacloban also took over that Visayan City by storm, as a lot of call center workers from Manila and Cebu relocated to continue their call center career there.
After these key cities benefited from the call center industry, Iloilo will now have the chance to be the next call center hub. And why not, this southern city now houses the following call centers according to the latest article from Manila Bulletin:
Meanwhile, a boom in call center operations is happening in this city, with the latest entry of Hinduja Global Solutions under the India-based Hinduja Group.
The Hinduja call center, which has been operating in the Philippines for over 20 years, has opted to put up a branch in Iloilo City by targeting more than 1,500 employees before the end of this year.
Treñas said over 4,000 city graduates are currently employed in call centers here, notably by ePLDT-Ventus, TeleTech, Transcom, Call Box and other call center firms.
Personally, I am happy that a lot of call center companies are now entrusting their businesses in these Philippine provinces. This will bring a lot of opportunities to a lot of soft skilled workers and tap opportunities especially for those who wanted to jump in the call center bandwagon.
How about you? What can you say about this development? If you live in Iloilo, will you still relocate to Manila for a call center job? Why?

I guessed it only proves that thecall center Philippines is trused by the different companies globally.
Philippines is becoming one of the top countries which is being renown in the industry along with India and Malaysia.
I think this post is brilliant. Well said – I’m totally with you on this topic. Iloilo City is thought to be the next big wave cities for the business process outsourcing firms as it includes attractive telecommunications, power, airport infrastructure and other commercial facilities. Additionally, the city provides lowest power, rental and the average base of the pay rates within Philippines.

Wow! Didn’t know Iloilo is a key city in this industry! I’m glad that different parts of the country are providing jobs. Metro Manila is becoming congested so it’s a good thing that places outside Manila are catching up.
