Call center employees can form a majority of voters if you are going to include us on the business sector. That is why when we talk about the coming 2010 National Elections, you should have call center workers in mind as well when you think of voter education.
I too, am part of this huge chunk of voters in the next election. That is why I did my own research and check for some online sources for voter education in the Philippines, and that is where I find Political Arena.com
Political Arena is a site that deals with yes, political issues here in the Philippines. I have also found out that
this is the country’s first socio-political networking site, cool right? Their aim is to educate the first-time voters and encourage participation in the 2010 elections. They operate in partnership with COMELEC, PPCRV and Youte Vote Philippines to promote voter’s education through some special online features. Politicalarena.com operates under the network of 88DB.com, the Philippines’ first rich media service portal.

Yes, you can take advantage of getting educated as a voter through blog, chat, forum and other multimedia channels.
That’s inviting for me, because this also means that I can get in touch with these candidates to answer some of my questions in this political forum.

Check out the sample post I did in this political forum.
So I registered and logged in their system. What I like about the registration part is the option to send you updates via email or sms. I choose update via email for this one. I also posted my opinion on one of their forum threads and doing this is a breeze.
I like my initial experience in this site. I hope that more call center employees will register and participate as well so these candidates will know what their call center voters want from them this coming elections.
