Working At Night and Going Home in the Morning

by admin on October 26, 2009

If there is one thing that I love about going home in the morning is that I am always against the rushing traffic.
:)

While everyone else was on the other side of the road going to their offices, the road I’m on is always free of any heavy traffic so in less than an hour I am already home. Just imagine going through rush hour traffic. An hour’s not enough for me because it usually takes me 1 1/2 to 2 hours of travel time. And I completely hate it! Just imagine the amount of time wasted just sitting in the commute when I could have been doing something more productive at home like updating my blogs and other online stuff.

But now I am working in the morning shift, handling some call center agents’ trainings. I go to the office very early and go home early too, so I still avoid the heavy traffic.
:)

*LOL*

Firstly, I have to tell you that I always work on night-shift, well.. it’s not a shift actually, I just prefer to go to my work place and do my job during night time because it’s more quite and less interference.

And I totally agree with the less traffic during the morning rush-hour!

While going home at night has some advantages like avoiding the rush hour and traffic, it has also disadvantages: aside from the shift in your body clock and not having social life at night, going home at night can pose a threat as robbers and holduppers are on the streets looking for their victim during that time.

It’s so much better to work early and go home early. But commuting to work in the wee hours, can be really dangerous sometimes.

Yeah, the vulnerability to evil beings always had me concerned when I worked the night shift. But being able to have that extra hour of sleep made it all worth it. :D
