Continuous Relief Operations

by admin on October 19, 2009

I’ve talked earlier on how my colleagues in the call center that I am working for are still working hard to get donations for the typhoon victims. I am just wondering what other call centers might be doing for the same cause.

For one thing I’ve heard that some call centers have given an earlier 13th month pay for their employees who were greatly affected by the typhoon, particularly those whose homes were flooded. I think that is a noble thing to do because those people are in need of funds to help them repair their houses. I am also a victim because our house got flooded, neck-deep.

Some call centers, I believe, have given out loans to their affected employees to help them on the same purpose. I just hope there is no interest involved so it would be a completely good-natured way of helping others.
