My boyfriend’s brother also works in a call center and he’s been in his job for almost two years now. He’s actually very good at it that he has been considered for a promotion a number of times. But he usually turn them down. I have this hunch that he earns more through the commissions that he gets, and that if he ever get promoted, he won’t be entitled to any commission anymore.
Anyway, I bumped into him the other night and I was surprised to see the haggard look on his face. It was as if he hadn’t slept for a whole week. And the way he told me that he couldn’t sleep well, it was like him confirming my notion. I told him that he needs to sleep better because that is the only (and the best) way that he can re-energize so he can work at his best level every single night.
I guess the reason why he couldn’t really sleep well is because he is always with his friends and they would go out sometime to have fun. If he could lessen that and find more time to sleep, I bet his appearance will start to freshen up.
