How do you manage stress especially if you are working in a call center? I have this theory that stress from call center work is different from other jobs. I take into consideration the night shift work, the irate callers that a call center agent gets each night and other related pressures.
As for me, I handle my stress by doing the following:
1. Sleep
I try my best to sleep for at least 8 hours a day, if not for at least 5 hours. Then I also take longer sleeping time during the weekends to make up for the lost sleeping hours during the work days.
2. Tea
Tea is very relaxing, at least for me. I find that I easily relax when I sip a cup of tea that is why when I am at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, I usually order a hot cup of tea.
3. Go out with my boyfriend.
My boyfriend and I love to go out even if just to do some window shopping. It relaxes me (I can’t say the same for him
). Anyway, I really believe that just walking around in the mall will help ease my tired body.
