I Hope the Rains Stop Soon

by admin on October 2, 2009

Work is heavily interrupted whenever there is a typhoon. Especially for call centers, manpower is gravely reduced because of so many reasons associated with such a natural disaster: flash floods, blackouts, impassable roads, and more. And the days ahead is not turning for the better.

A super typhoon is fast approaching and is expected to make a landfall by tomorrow, Saturday. Typhoon Ondoy has just left and with him he left a pool of blood and tears, not just floodwater and mud. With the incoming typhoon, how could the people who have already been affected by Ondoy ever recover? Especially those who are still living in evacuation centers because their houses are still deep in water, how can they spend another week in such a condition? It is not enough that they are receiving continuous supplies of food and clothing. It is still a different matter when they are already in their own houses.

I pray to God that all these typhoons come to a halt. To a complete stop. The Philippines already had enough.
