Call Center Companies: Religious Tax Payers

by admin on August 17, 2009

If you’re in the Philippines, you would understand how call center companies are continuously budding for dominance in the employment sector. A lot of businesses, be it domestic or international are realizing the importance of including this sector in their businesses.

Now it also goes without saying how these call center companies are seriously adhering to the governments tax policy. Based on my experience, most of these companies are doing their best to be transparent of their contributions. They would also set up a scheduled townhall meetings in case of any development in policy and implementation.

And you know what’s surprising? These call center employees are really that proactive in knowing all these things. A number of people even prepare sets of questions to ask and raise points for clarification. I just realized that money really drives people’s attention and motivation.

So I feel happy whenever I see the tax deduction details on my payslip. It really cuts the pay that I should receive but realizing that I am contributing something good to the government fund is worth giving.

I just hope that our government will use this for the good of everyone and not only for their own gain.
