We will celebrate Independence Day tomorrow here in the Philippines and some call center agents are excited about it because of two things.
For one, if they are on their rest day tomorrow then that means they can rest and or go out for some recreation. Another, this means double pay for the call center agents who will come for work on a holiday.
Some of my former colleagues asked me to go with them for coffee and I begged off after knowing the schedule and the venue. Well, I don’t want to believe the news now, but I just want to avoid going to some crowded places like malls this week because of Swine Flu rumors circulating nowadays.

It might be better to just go and get exposed to it. The illness to date has been mild, and your body will build immunity in case it comes back fierce in the winter months. Obviously if you are a baby, or elder this is not a good idea to expose yourself.
Dropping by this wet friday morning to greet yah a blessed weekend ahead
i thought about avoiding crowded places too, like the malls but sometimes i just can’t help it. the strain that hit us is not that strong, according to health officials. but still, it pays to be cautious, right? yesterday, parents and teachers convened in my daughter’s school for a briefing on ah1n1, among other things.
our family is focusing on boosting our immune system. hopefully it works even though we continue to buy our groceries in malls (but not as often as before).
