I worked in call center last year and for the first time ever I gained a lot of extra poundage. I do attribute it to not being able to get up and move around as you would in a regular office situation. When you are required to take calls all day and your adherance to your schedule at nearly 100%, it's almost impossible even to "stand" very often. Where I worked I generally was allowed to leave my phone only for a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks. ANY other time off the phone affected your overall "statistics" -meaning "bonuses". When you have a low pay in general for working in a call center, I, specifically needed the extra incentive for my bottom line (no pun intended). I actually start a new job next week (again in a call center because it is all I can find in my area right now) and I am trying to find some way of not letting that happen again. Personally, I dont like the idea of taking medication for a wellness decision. I prefer to get up a little earlier and excerise before work, but I am not very good at a consistant schedule. As far as eating, I didnt eat fast food. Most days I brought leftovers from home which were healthy. You really have to stay on top of diet and excerise.
