People who work in the call center are highly prone to gaining unnecessary weight. I know because me and some of my friends are currently dealing with extra weight. We blame it to our erratic meal times (because of shifts that keep on changing every other week), the nature of call center work which is just sitting down and taking calls, and the availability of fast food all around the office building.
I believe it’s more of the fast food that’s why we are gaining weight. Simply because when you’re working at night, sometimes it helps you to stay awake when you’re munching on something. And fast food is the really the quickest bites that you can get. I know there is a solution to this: bring your own food. Preferably that is healthy and light on calories. But it’s hard to prepare meals in advance since we spend the rest of the day sleeping and catching up on other important personal matters.
For these reasons, there is a market for a really effective diet pill for call center employees. I completely believe there is because most of us don’t have the time or the energy to go to the gym or jog. Diet pills can help us lose the weight while not exerting too much effort through exercise.
I know exercise is still important, all I’m saying is that we need a little extra help… actually any help that we can get.

If so, i will apply to be call center worker
curious…where do most agents eat when they work the night shift?
I worked in call center last year and for the first time ever I gained a lot of extra poundage. I do attribute it to not being able to get up and move around as you would in a regular office situation. When you are required to take calls all day and your adherance to your schedule at nearly 100%, it’s almost impossible even to “stand” very often. Where I worked I generally was allowed to leave my phone only for a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks. ANY other time off the phone affected your overall “statistics” -meaning “bonuses”. When you have a low pay in general for working in a call center, I, specifically needed the extra incentive for my bottom line (no pun intended). I actually start a new job next week (again in a call center because it is all I can find in my area right now) and I am trying to find some way of not letting that happen again. Personally, I dont like the idea of taking medication for a wellness decision. I prefer to get up a little earlier and excerise before work, but I am not very good at a consistant schedule. As far as eating, I didnt eat fast food. Most days I brought leftovers from home which were healthy. You really have to stay on top of diet and excerise.
