In my previous posts I shared with you the small adjustments that Johann and I have to make so we can pay for the equity of the townhouse in Binangonan Rizal.
That means that when we finally move in, that we have to adjust our travel time, instead of allotting an hour and a half for it, we have to give at least two hours or more. I still have yet to check if I can stand the travel time soon. ![]()
If given the chance, I would love to settle in an area near my call center office, but it can be too costly for us. Here in the Philippines, we can only enjoy the convenience of living near the central business district if we can afford to pay for a condominium unit. But if you are within North Carolina, then you might want to check out Wilmington NC real estate for your housing needs. Their website has listings on the available properties that will make your ‘house’ selection experience easier.
Hope we got that experience as well even before we decided to pay for that townhouse months ago.
But there’s no regrets because that place is ideal for cool, laidback lifestyle. That is something that we want to enjoy after working on shifts.

Binangonan? Whoa! So far and the traffic there is bad right?
This is what I just love about moving to Cairns, Australia – no more commuting and working for myself is even better as any travelling I do I actually choose to do it! I don’t envy you the commute at all, mind you owning your own home, sometimes the scarifices we make are worth it.
Layo a.! Sayang travel time. But if your happy. Then so are we.
I would hate a commute like that, but you have to do what is needed to have a great place to live and a decent job. Congrats on your new place.
That is a really long commute. I got tired of commuting half that time each way.
my workplace is just a few blocks away from our house so it’s really easy for me even as i go on a night shift. no stress.i can walk or ride a bike to get there.
i still plan to buy a property in rizal though, maybe in cainta or antipolo.
swerte pa rin namin pala ano? kasi walking distance lang dito ang kindergarten, eskwelahan, palengke, simbahan, train station, bus station, at mga restaurants at palaruan
pero am sure exciting naman yan kasi bagong bahay at buhay
congrats on your new place. like what they said, though the commute may be very tough, but some sacrifice sometimes is needed to also attain some of our goals. but then, it also depends on what we can do, some can not take that long commute, but if you can eventually adjust and will be okay with it, i believe it is always great to have a place we call home.
Congratulations. You’re lucky to have your own house na.
