T-Mobile Moving to the Philippines?

by admin on April 18, 2009

Another call center client is moving their business to the Philippines.

I am having my daily read of call center news when I stumbled this item from BBC News. According to one of their news articles, T-Mobile already announced their plans of moving almost 500 jobs here in the Philippines.

By the end of August, customers who have general inquiries about T-Mobile’s services will be assisted by T-Mobile Dela Rosa here in Manila, Philippines.

However, UK agents will still be in the picture as they still have to provide the next level of customer support to their clients (telesales included).

Isn’t it another welcome development for Filipino call center agents? :)

So that explains. When I call customer service of T Mobile I observe a familiar accent. But it doesn’t matter as long as they can answer my questions well
