Whenever someone asks me about the kind of work that I am doing, they are always amazed by the fact that I work in a call center. Just like what I mentioned on my previous posts, a lot of my other fiends are working in different industries.
I told them to give call center industry a try, but they told me that they’re not comfortable to speak in English for more than an hour. The thing is they can always practice at home. For example, if they want to practice a call simulation in a travel account, they can use Stratosphere hotel as a sample website, among others.

You can use the hotel site to be your ‘sample’ account in a call simulation.
First, you can study the details of that website. Feel free to navigate through the pages and check on some of the information that you may find useful as you take call simulation calls for that sample account.
Next, you can ask a fellow trainee or your phone practice buddy to list some sample scenarios so he can use it as a reference as to the concerns that he will raise when he called you (during phone simulation).
Lastly, you can also take turns doing those steps especially when your phone practice buddy also wants to apply in a call center. Believe me, this will help you advance your application especially if you want to be assigned in a travel account.
