I worked all day last week since I have a training class to attend to.
But I won’t tell you much about it. What I’ll share with you are my thoughts on cabs and free meals.
Last week, I frequently rode taxi cabs because I needed to pass a lot of processions on the road. Aside from that, I also find it challenging to hail my regular FX taxi ride since I observed that there were only a few of them who passed by our area.
Of course whenever I ride a cab I always do the tips that I shared here for a safe taxi ride, well aside from saying a little prayer of course.
I noticed that cab drivers were generally kind and polite last week. Could it be because of the Lenten Season?
On the other hand, call center agents who reported for work last week had a hard time looking for a place to eat. Some food providers called were off the pantry of some call centers here in Makati. It was only Jollibee who proved to work 24/7. The rest of fast food chains suspended their operations last Thursday and Friday, so it was literally only Jollibee that was left operational.
The good thing was, some call centers cared so much to give them free meals last Thursday and Friday. That was a good move especially for call center agents who did not worry that much on where to dine during their lunch breaks.
So that’s what happened last week among other things. Another week has passed and we’re off to start another productive week starting tomorrow.
How about you? What were some of the challenges you had last week?

No LRT. So you can imagine how many rides I took just to go to Makati. Taking a cab is not an option as it’s very exprensive
Really awesome blog. I enjoyed reading this review from you. I found that you really update your site regularly that made me more interesting. I’ve bookmarked your site for my future use.
Thank you

I would suggest moving some where closer, you can get a condo in Ortigas for about 12,000 a month so no more Cabs or Kapitolyo place go around 6,000 and up about 5 minutes from Ortigas 60 bucks in a cab to get there.

Hi Beau,
I live 15-20 mins from Ortigas and if living in a condo would only take a walk for a less than five or ten minutes then that would be great option (to live near the workplace).
