Payday Saturday

by Call Center Gal on March 1, 2009

Last Saturday was a blast! After reflecting on my self-assessment content for my annual appraisal, I just realized that it’s payday again. :)

Off from my blogging Friday night, I head off to meet my fiancee in Banchetto @ Ortigas and had breakfast together last Saturday morning. I then asked him to accompany me as I get my pay.

After I counted my money, I immediately placed it on four envelopes. One for my savings, the rest are for my bills, household contribution and budget up to the next payday.

It is common for call center employees to splurge a bit since they work hard for the money anyway, but I have to suspend some splurge time because I’m still helping my family with the bills. Aside from that Johann and I are saving some amount to complete the payment for the house equity and our soon to be intimate wedding.

How about you? Where do you allocate your payday money?

To answer your question, How about you? Where do you allocate your payday money?

Since my termination from my last call center due to my acquired hypertension (i’m only 33 for crying out loud), the charity (a.k.a child support) that i get from my ex is allocated to 1)Rent 2)Utilities 3)Groceries, i wish i could say that i have a savings, but i was forced to close my bpi account that i painstakingly desperately tried to maintain coz i had to withdraw everything due to the lack of decisiveness of my ex. and they say women are unpredictable and always pms-ing.

Hi Riza,

I’m sorry to hear that.

Although that’s good to know that Kiwis are kind. I hope you get a great job again soon. :)
