Security System in a Call Center

by admin on January 15, 2009

A call center office needs to have a very good security system. It just popped into my mind right now because somehow I remembered the day someone from the office stole my money. Such things should never happen in a call center office.

Working at night already has its hazards and dangers but I used to think that a call center worker is safer right in the office as opposed to being on the streets. But that’s not always the case since someone stole my money while I was sleeping in our sleeping quarters. When I thought I was safe and in a safe place, that’s when that horrible incident occurred.

I just wish a call center office can better safeguard its employees so we will always feel safe inside.

A well secured call center should include security access doors, cameras placed at each entrance and sporadically through the center (several “dummy” cameras along with real cameras to make people think “they’re watching”). There are other security measures to consider that don’t cost much (such as security awareness training) that can also minimize loss.

Bummer to hear about your theft…

Hi Madtechnologist,

You covered it all, :) Great suggestions!

About the theft incident, I just leave it up to Him. I can still earn the money though. :)
