I’m a woman and I usually work at night. Well, not the kind of job that might pop up from your naughty mind. I work in a call center and since my day usually starts when the sun has already set, there are times when I tend to worry about my safety.
Especially in the streets of Metro Manila where it is not generally safe to be out so late at night. And also, each time that I step into a taxi cab, I always stay alert for anything that can happen. Because anything bad can happen while you’re in the cab all alone just with the taxi driver.
For my protection, I always carry at least one of those self defense products. It’s usually a pepper spray disguised in a very small canister tucked safely in my purse and within quick and easy access for me. You just can never be sure at this time and age when virtually all of the news that you see on TV are street-related crimes.
