Davao City, one of my favorite places in the Philippines, is truly fast becoming a hub for IT opportunities.
An Australian company is slated to open a new call center in the city with an intial capacity of 200 seats. Now that’s good news for the call center agents in Mindanao.
The company is called Admirex, and one of its top executives are expected to visit the country in a week or two to officially announce the company’s expansion plans in the south.
Admirex is the seventh big call center company that is investing in Davao City.

I heard some rumors that eTelecare would be putting up their branch here in the one of the BPO buildings in Ayala Abreeza that is currently under construction…

Thanks for your interest. However, I am not connected with the company. What I can suggest is for you to get in touch with your local government unit or go to your municipal hall instead, they most likely have the address of that company so you can apply right away.

Big call centers are afraid to expand in Davao because agents up to Managers are EOP violators. Everyone speaks Visayan inside the call center, so why will they invest here when they know they can’t fullfil metrices like CSAT due to comm skills?
